Wow it seems like it has been a very long winter with not many sightings of birds nor wildlife in my area. I took a drive around my area and it is very quiet with very few sightings of birds. Spring will arrive soon and the birds and animals will be back looking for places to set up their homes. Open water will entice the migration. I will be out with my camera around my area and beyond to capture the magic.
This is an oil painting of Bufflehead ducks that arrived in April of a previous year. The water was mostly open and they arrived on time as they do every year. How it happens is amazing and part of a mystery. #bufflehead #ducks
